our love story

We met while living in the Bay Area while Shannon was completing her Master’s at Stanford and Aaron was working at America’s Tire. We matched on Hinge amidst the COVID-19 lockdown in April 2020, where we began messaging endlessly. It took us a few months to finally be able to meet in person.

A first, second, third date .. from there we became inseparable. We spent every day together from that point forward. We decided to make a movie list for the year since we were in lockdown, and within a day we had decided on 100 movies to watch together (Aaron says that Shannon picked 95 of them, but this is still a point of debate).

When Shannon was accepted to UCLA for medical school, they decided to move in together and head south. After moving in, the next big step they took was to get Luna! They have been each others’ greatest support systems as Aaron has navigated changing careers and Shannon faced the passing of her father in 2022.

We are both so excited to share our love with you at our wedding on 5.25.25!
